SOLUTION PUMP |
Product Number:
P316 |
Shur-Flo Solution Pump. 100 PSI pump designed to fit inside the Scooter Carpet Restoration System. This pump sends your cleaning solution or rinse water to your wand or prespray gun. If your pump has suddenly stopped working, and the pump itself is not running, always try and "prime" your pump before replacing it. If the Pumps runs but does not move water, you may just need to replace the Diaphragm inside. Also make sue you have a solution filter on your intake line and are not using Solvent based chemicals in your machine. Solvents should go directly on a stain, not in your cleaning solution.

10 Inch PNEUMATIC WHEEL |
Product Number:
P333 |
Tires for Scooter. One of the biggest reasons people stop using a carpet system like the scooter is damaged or under inflated tires. These pneumatic tires need to be topped off with air to keep them rolling with ease. Also try to avoid moving the Scooter while it is full of water. Its heavy, messy and can cause the rubber to pop off the wheel. If this happens to you wrap a rope or belt around the outside of the tire and inflate, the tire will grip onto the wheel and form an airtight seal.

FLOAT FILTER |
Product Number:
P288 |
Sometimes called a sock filter. this goes on the Ball and Cage and prevents large particulates from getting onside your vacuum motors. If your suction is not what it used to be a clogged float filter is a good thing to check. Namco recommends washing the filter off after every job simply by rinsing it into the dump tank with your prespray gun. Also you can take off and wash, or simply replace regularly.

BALL AND CAGE |
Product Number:
P313 |
Meant to stop water from overflowing into the vacuum motors the ball will float up and slow down the suction to give you time to shut down the machine. This is not infallible! If you notice a lack of suction at the wand, or if you hear the pitch of the motors change dramatically, go and turn off the machine and check your dump tank. Empty it if its full. Otherwise water will get into the vacuum motors and rust out the bearings. If water does get into the Vacuums simply run the motors with the dump tank empty until no more water comes out the vacuum exhaust located on the back bottom of the Scooter. Then run for 5-10 more minutes to dry the motors fully before putting the machine away for the day. Water in the vacuum motors is the most common cause of ruined Vacuum Motors.
